Your North Central Phoenix neighbor, Trevor H Halpern, JD, is a proud alumni of Simis Elementary and Meadows Middle School. Not only did his wife, Beth, also attend these wonderful schools growing up, but they are now parents to current Simis and Meadows students. While Trevor went to Brophy and Beth attended Xaiver, the future shines bright as the Halpern’s will continue with their legacy and deep roots with the incredible education found in North Central Phoenix.

Madison Camelview Elementary
Madison Camelview Elementary, home of the Cubs, is a top-rated school of approximately 600 students, serving grades preschool through 4th grade. In 2018 Madison Camelview was named an A+ School of Excellence by the Arizona Educational Foundation. The focus of Madison Camelview is: STEAM: Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math.
Madison Heights Elementary
Madison Heights Elementary is home to two signature programs for the Madison School District – Spanish Immersion and REACH-Profoundly Gifted. The program has evolved into the current Spanish Immersion 50/50 program offered to students preschool-4th grade.
Madison Rose Lane Elementary
At Madison Rose Lane Elementary, visual and performing arts are the focus. In Madison Rose Lane Elementary‘s Performing Arts program, students have the ability to take Dance and Theatre electives from Kindergarten through 4th grade. Dance classes include ballet, jazz, tap and hip hop. Families can also choose a more traditional type of elective (Art, Music & Physical Education) for their child.
Madison Simis Elementary
Madison Simis Elementary is an International Baccalaureate® (IB) accredited school in the Primary Years Programme (PYP). The International Baccalaureate® aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. Inquiry learning helps students learn while building on what they already know. The instruction is student centered with a hands-on approach. Students create meaning through understanding. Our aim is to develop lifelong learners through the process of inquiry.
Madison Meadows Middle School
Madison Meadows Middle School is an International Baccalaureate® (IB) accredited school in the Middle Years Programme (MYP). The IB Middle Years Program (MYP) focuses on the development of students’ intellectual, social, emotional, and physical well-being. It enables students to understand and manage the complexities of our world. It provides students with the skills and attitudes they need to be better prepared for their future. The MYP provides the framework needed to encourage students to become creative, critical, and reflective thinkers. The MYP emphasizes intellectual challenge, encouraging students to make connections between their studies in traditional subjects with the real world. This experience prepares students for life in the 21st century by helping them develop communication, intercultural understanding, and global engagement skill sets. Madison Meadows students are prepared to enter an IB High School Middle Years and Diploma program. Students also receive Spanish language instruction.
Madison No. 1 Middle School
Madison No. 1 Middle School is the district’s Performing and Visual Arts school, and is also home to our Spanish Immersion program offering for 5th through 8th grade students, as well as the REACH – Profoundly Gifted program for middle school. In addition to the typical electives (Physical Education, Band, Music, Art, Technology, and Spanish) Madison No. 1 offers Theatre, Dance, Strings, and Choir. Students participate in these additional electives based on their current ability level rather than their grade level. Multi-grade Advanced classes allow No. 1 to offer Advanced and Performance classes such as Wind Symphony, Performance Dance, Advanced Acting, Crew (backstage theatre), and specialized art classes. No. 1 teachers communicate with local High Schools to ensure that Advanced classes align to high school curriculum. This prepares students for accelerated elective options when they attend High School.
Madison Park Middle School
Madison Park Middle School’s STEAM program provides students with a solid curriculum with an emphasis on math, science and engineering, giving them an advantage when entering a STEAM High School. Students are taught to engage, explore, explain, elaborate and evaluate. All students are provided a three year engineering curriculum that includes hands on learning labs with 22 engineering lab stations that include 3D printing, pneumatics, rockets, robotics, and more.
Madison Traditional Academy
Madison Traditional Academy: The only K-8 school in the district, MTA provides a traditional accelerated curriculum for those families wanting a researched based and historically proven methodology of instruction for their children. Madison Traditional Academy (MTA) develops a solid foundation of fundamental and higher-level thinking skills through a structured curriculum that is consistent within each grade level and sequential throughout the grades. Students work one year above grade level in math and have an advanced language arts curriculum. At MTA, curriculum is taught using direct instruction techniques, whole class instruction, and approved teaching methods. The phonics based Spalding Method is the basis of the MTA Language Arts curriculum. Saxon Math is the basis for the mathematics curriculum, and the Core Knowledge Sequence is utilized and taught in all grades.

All Saints Episcopal Day School
All Saints’ is a private, admission based, Pre-K through eight grade school with distinguished history of offering academic excellence.
St Francis Xavier Elementary School
St. Francis Xavier is the only Jesuit Catholic Elementary School in Arizona that remains deep rooted in Jesuit tradition and Ignatian spirituality. Offering Pre-K through eighth grade, the curriculum is designed to prepare students to attend college preparatory high schools.
Brophy College Preparatory High School
Founded in 1928, Brophy remains to be the only all-male Catholic, Jesuit high school in Arizona where the curriculum relies on a combination of liberal arts principles and Roman Catholic theology. Not only has Brophy continuously been ranked as an academic leader in Arizona, but continues to offer a nationally recognized athletics program.
Xavier College Preparatory Roman Catholic High School
As an all-female high school, Xavier is continuously recognized as an academic leader in Arizona. Founded in 1943, Xavier follows a traditional college preparatory curriculum and offers numerous sports teams and student activities.
